Jill joined the McFarlin Group in 2023 as the President & COO, Operations, bringing 20+ years of senior living experience, overseeing operating performance in both 3rd party and owner-operator (Surpass Senior Living) managed communities. In this role, Jill leads the operations team to streamline the channel between McFarlin Group, its communities, and investor partners. Prior to joining McFarlin Group, Ms. Haselman was Founder and CEO of Senior Living Net Operating Impact™ (SLNOI™), a consulting firm focused on driving results through a unique operations methodology. The foundation of her experience was built as a pioneer and SVP of Organizational Development for Benchmark Senior Living in New England, a company that still produces exemplary performance, exceeds $1B AUM, and is known nationally for its culture.
Jill’s industry leadership garnered numerous awards, including the President’s award for Leadership (Argentum), the Boston Globe Top Places to Work (2007-2009), YPO Corporate Responsibility award, Healthcare Corporate Achievement award, and several Argentum Best of the Best awards, among others.
She has a PhD (abd) in Organizational Development from Cornell University, a Master’s of Science from Virginia Tech and a BS Old Dominion University.
Miranda comes to us with a extensive background in Senior Care including home health, hospice, skilled rehab, assisted living, independent living and memory care. Miranda has been in senior care for 16 years and has held various roles throughout her career. She has expert knowledge in leadership and developing people into leaders through aligning their goals with organizational goals and helping to make strategic decisions to ensure those goals are met.
Miranda holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a master’s in public health, both from Texas A&M University. Her academic foundation, combined with her extensive hands-on experience in senior living operations, has allowed her to be a successful negotiator, maximize company productivity, and establish long- and short-term goals that ultimately increased NOI and employee retention which she feels are performance initiated by people throughout the company. Miranda has a passion for people and ensuring their success through education and motivation. She strives for positive change and effective leadership to ensure core values are met.
Miranda in her spare time loves to spend time with family, read, and ride on the Harley with her husband. Miranda has two German short haired pointers that she treats like her kids and hunts with them when she can, she also loves all sports especially football. A fun fact about Miranda she was a bounty all through college.
